Client Overview:

The client is a vertically energy major, with interest in upstream and downstream oil and gas business. They have offices all over the work and this project was carried out of their Houston office.

They wanted to make sure that their existing business processes were properly captured and improved with the use of the new ETRM system. It was a multi phased project, covering multiple geographical locations and lasting for over 4 years

  • We held requirement session to their existing processes. The deliverable was an As-Is Process document and then a To-Be Process document.

Client Overview:

The client is an integrated global energy company based in Madrid, Spain. It carries out upstream and downstream activities throughout the entire world.

Requirement:

Client was an existing player in the US natural business and wanted to leverage their strength in natural gas business to make gains in the US power market. They had an existing ETRM system for managing their US natural business and wanted to extend it for managing their power business. They also wanted to implement a Bid-to-Bill system. The project involved system selection for the B2b, selection of SI and managing activates of the SI. The project involved approximately 80 people.

  • We were brought on to the project as a client advocate with three main objectives:
    1. Conduct pilot to ascertain Allegro could address the power business requirement.
    2. System selection for handle the Bid-to-Bill business process of power.
    3. Selection of the SI for implementing system for power business and managing the activities of the SI.
  • The system selection involved, issuing RFP, evaluating the responses, referral calls and preparing the recommendation to the Steering Committee.

Client: Natural Gas Utility in Mexico


Client Overview:

The client was formed because of the energy reforms undertaken in Mexico. It is tasked with managing and optimizing the supply of natural gas to all the power generating entities in Mexico

Requirement:

This was a greenfield implementation of an ETRM software to manage its natural gas business. The scheduling till then was managed by third party, which the client was taking over. This necessitated gathering a lot of information with respect to the pipelines as part of the project and ensuring that the scheduling was not disrupted.
